The Nassau Yankees open the 2012 season in the NYCMBL with a new look. Henry Fontalvo takes over as manager of the single A team. With just 6 players returning, Henry has added Chris Vasquez and Noel Vargas from last year's AA team, and added a strong group of rookies from this year's draft. This ballclub has a good chance of winning it all this year.

Victor Catano joins the organization as the new AA manager. Victor will have catchers Joe Magdovitz and Andrew Soare from last year's AAA & A squad. Joining them is  a collection of veteran players from Victor's old Peligro squad. Victor's  AA Yankees will make a strong run at a title this year.

The triple A Yankees have many returning veteran players in catcher Tom Foley, outfielder Kevin DeCapua, pitcher Scott Sadowski and more.   Rounding out the roster are newcomers Ian Spector (SS Guilford college), Rob Abruzzese (2b), Shawn Wilson (OF), Jamie Liebowitz (Adelphi) and Marcos Perez (NY Tech).

In a restructured AAA division, manager Ed LaMarr feels this is one of the best Yankee teams in recent years.
